Alantan Cream 30g
Alantan Cream is a drug containing allantoin at a concentration of 20%, which works well in the treatment of many skin problems, showing an exfoliating effect and supporting the healing of wounds. In addition, Alantan applied to the affected skin has a protective effect and improves its hydration, reducing itching, redness and flaking of the skin.

Intended Use
- Treatment of hard-to-heal wounds, burns (including sunburn).
- Treatment of chronic inflammatory skin conditions with excessive peeling and keratosis (atopic dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis and other skin diseases).
- Treatment of shallow ulcers, skin and mucous membrane defects.
Active substance: Allantoin
Composition
The active substance of the drug is allantoin. 1 g of ointment contains 20 mg of allantoin.
The other substances are: lanolin, liquid paraffin, white petrolatum, ethyl parahydroxybenzoate, propylene glycol, purified water.
How to use
Alantan ointment is applied topically to the skin, applying it to the affected areas 2 to 3 times a day.
You can put a small amount of ointment on a sterile compress and apply it to the cleaned wound. Dressings should be changed once to twice a day.
When should Alantan Cream not be used?
- If you are allergic to allantoin or any of the other ingredients of the drug,
- In the eyes,
- In cases of acute inflammation of the skin with exudate

Warnings
This is medicine. For safety, use it according to the leaflet attached to the package. Do not exceed the maximum dose of the drug. If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
In the event of any signs of hypersensitivity on the skin at the site of application (redness, itching), discontinue use of the product and apply symptomatic treatment. Due to the content of lanolin, the product may cause a local skin reaction (e.g. contact dermatitis).

- Due to the content of lanolin, the drug may cause a local skin reaction (e.g. contact dermatitis).
- Due to the content of propylene glycol, the drug may cause skin irritation.
- The drug contains ethyl parahydroxybenzoate and may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed).
Side effects
Hypersensitivity reactions, skin irritation may occur (see also section 2: What you need to know before using Alantan – Warnings and precautions).
