Description
Chlorchinaldin Blackcurrant Flavor contains chloroquinaldol. This substance has antibacterial, antifungal and antiprotozoal properties.
- Chlorchinaldin, through its antibacterial and antifungal activity, inhibits the development of throat infections, which prevents the appearance of unpleasant pain symptoms.
- Chlorchinaldin has a causal effect – it fights the most common causes of sore throat and its irritation, including Streptococcus pyogenes, a bacterium that causes up to 90% of cases of acute pharyngitis and tonsillitis.
- Chlorchinaldin fights fungal infections of the throat after antibiotic therapy.
Chlorchinaldin has the form of a small tablet, has a mild taste, contains less sugar than lozenges.
Symptoms
It is indicated for topical use:
- in bacterial infections of the mouth and gums,
- in thrush,
- in fungal infections of the mouth and throat after treatment with antibiotics.

Dosage

Recommended dose
- Every 1 – 2 hours suck 1 tablet.

Overdosage
So far, no case of overdose has been reported.
Due to the dose of the drug and slight absorption, the occurrence of severe side effects as a result of overdose is unlikely. However, the results of the research indicate that chlorin-based chinoline (chlorochinaldol belongs to this group), especially used in high doses and for a long time, can cause subacute spinal neuropathy (type of nervous system disorder), characterized by sensory disorders, muscle weakness, pain and disorders goodbye. Symptoms are often preceded by persistent diarrhea and abdominal pain, and the characteristic symptom is green urine and tongue. If you use more than the recommended dose of the drug, contact your doctor.
Management of overdose includes induction of vomiting and gastric lavage and symptomatic treatment.
Interactions with other drugs
