Envil Gardlo (20 Tablets)
Envil Gardlo (20 Tablets) is an antiseptic and local anesthetic product with the addition of zinc for use in:
- inflammation of the throat and mouth,
- infections and ulcers of the oral mucosa (aphthas, thrush),
- preventing the build-up of bacterial plaque.
As an alternative, it can be used in the treatment of infections of the upper respiratory tract with a sore throat and tonsillitis (angina).
1 tablet contains:
Active substances: 1.5 mg of cetylpyridinium chloride, 1.0 mg of lidocaine hydrochloride and 17.42 mg of zinc gluconate (corresponding to 2.5 mg of zinc ions).
Excipients: menthol, microcrystalline cellulose, polyvinylpyrrolidone, aspartame, anhydrous citric acid, croscarmellose sodium, talc, magnesium stearate, glycerol 99.5%.
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Adults: slowly suck one tablet every 1 or 2 hours. do not exceed the dose of 8 tablets a day.
Children from 6 years of age: slowly suck one tablet every 2 or 3 hours. Do not exceed the dose of 6 tablets a day. do not take the drug with food. Preferably one hour before or after a meal.
The tablet should be sucked slowly in the mouth.
Envil Garglo has an antiseptic (decontamination) and a local anesthetic.
It contains three active substances:
- cetylpyridinium chloride, which has a disinfecting, bactericidal and antifungal effect,
- lidocaine hydrochloride, which anesthetizes local pain,
- zinc gluconate, which supports the body’s immune system.

Envil throat can be used adjunctively in the treatment of infections of the upper respiratory tract diseases of sore throat and tonsillitis (sore throat).
Do not use Envil Gardlo
- if you are allergic to any of the ingredients of this medicine
- if you have severe liver or kidney failure
- if you suffer from methaemoglobinaemia
- in children under 6 years of age
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Uncommon (affects 1 to 10 in 1,000 people): local skin reactions such as erythema, itching, eczema, burning sensation.
Rare (affects 1 to 10 in 10,000 people): severe skin reactions such as blistering or pimple eczema, which may spread or be generalized; hives; hypersensitivity to sunlight; Headache; gastrointestinal disorders (nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea); vomiting, a metallic taste in the mouth: stomatitis.,
Very rare (affects less than 1 in 10,000 people): worsening of pre-existing renal failure.
Not known (cannot be estimated from the available data): convulsions.
Warnings and Precautions
- The drug contains aspartame, which is a source of phenylalanine and should not be used in patients with phenylketonuria.
- The drug contains mannitol which may cause stomach irritation and diarrhea.
Store at room temperature.
Protect from light and moisture.
Store out of the reach of small children.

Do not take this medicine while eating or just before eating, as there is a risk of choking. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine. Envil throat must not be used in children under 6 years of age.
Taking the drug with food and drink
It is best to take the drug one hour before or one hour after meals. Be careful when drinking hot drinks and eating hot foods.
Due to the reduced sensitivity to heat, the risk of burns to the oral mucosa and throat increases. Do not eat dairy products while taking Envil throat as they reduce the absorption of zinc.
