Labofarm Sedative Tablets

Labofarm Sedative Tablets are used to treat mild nervous tension and periodic difficulties in falling asleep.

Symptoms

Traditionally, for mild, transient nervous tension and periodic difficulties in falling asleep.

Active substance: Leonuri cardiacae herba, Lupuli strobili, Melissae folium, Valerianae radix

Composition

Valerianae radix (valerian root) -170 mg
Lupuli strobilus (hop cone) -50 mg
Melissae folium (lemon balm leaf) -50 mg
Leonuri cardiacae herba (motherwort herb) -50 mg

One tablet contains not less than 0.15 mg of valerenic acids.

Dosage

Orally. Adults, adolescents over 12 years of age: 2 tablets 3 times a day. In case of difficulties falling asleep 2 tablets half an hour to an hour before going to bed or, if necessary, an additional 2 tablets in the evening. Take the medicine down with a sufficient amount of liquid.

Contraindications

Do not use the drug in case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

Warnings

The preparation does not cause drug dependence. Alcohol may enhance the effects of valerian root preparations. Due to the presence of motherwort, there is a possibility of hypersensitivity to UV radiation and due to its anti-coagulability properties, the preparation should be discontinued at least two weeks before the planned surgery.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Do not use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. There are no data on the effect on fertility.

Driving vehicles

It is not recommended to use the drug for 2 hours before night driving and by tired people, due to its properties promoting falling asleep.

Overdosage

No overdose symptoms have been observed with the product.

Interactions with other drugs

The preparation may increase the effect of drugs with a CNS depressant effect and interact with drugs that inhibit coagulation.

Side effects

So far it has not been found. Due to the valerian root content, gastrointestinal symptoms (nausea, spasms) may occur.
