Description: Polopiryna Complex is a multi-ingredient medicine that combats cold symptoms such as fever, muscle and joint pain, and runny nose.

Composition: The active ingredients in the medicine are acetylsalicylic acid (Acidum acetylsalicylicum), phenylephrine bitartrate (Phenylephrini bitartras), and chlorphenamine maleate (Chlorphenamini maleas).

Each sachet contains 500 mg of acetylsalicylic acid, 15.58 mg of phenylephrine bitartrate, and 2 mg of chlorphenamine maleate.

Excipients: colloidal anhydrous silica, sucrose, sodium saccharin, sodium cyclamate, anhydrous citric acid, orange flavor.

Dosage: This medicine should always be taken according to the instructions in the patient leaflet or as directed by a doctor or pharmacist. In case of doubt, consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Adults and adolescents over 16 years old:

1 sachet every 6-8 hours as needed. Do not exceed a dose of 4 sachets per day.

Dissolve the contents of one sachet in a glass of hot water, mix, and drink. Take orally as a hot drink. Taking the medicine at the lowest effective dose for the shortest necessary period reduces the risk of side effects. In elderly patients (over 65 years old), the medicine should be used in lower doses and at longer intervals due to the increased risk of adverse effects in this patient group.

Action: Polopiryna Complex combines the effects of three components. Thanks to them, it comprehensively alleviates cold symptoms.

Acetylsalicylic acid acts as an antipyretic, analgesic, and anti-inflammatory. Phenylephrine reduces congestion and swelling of the mucous membranes, thereby clearing nasal passages, inhibiting the sneezing reflex, and reducing eye watering. Chlorphenamine relieves symptoms of nasal congestion (runny nose and sneezing). Buffering agents in the medicine enable rapid and complete dissolution of Polopiryna Complex in water, making it easily absorbed and well-tolerated.

Indications: Polopiryna Complex is used in the comprehensive treatment of cold and flu symptoms such as:

Fever, Chills, Sore throat, Muscle and joint pain, Headache (caused by reduced patency of the nasal sinuses due to swelling of the nasal mucosa and restricted airflow), Nasal mucosa swelling and congestion, Excessive nasal mucus production, Sneezing, Watery eyes.

Contraindications: Do not use Polopiryna Complex:

If the patient has bronchial asthma, chronic respiratory system disorders, hay fever, or nasal mucosa swelling, as patients with these conditions may react to nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs with asthma attacks, limited skin and mucosal edema (angioedema), or urticaria more often than other patients.
