Procto-Hemolan 20g
Procto-Hemolan cream combats the symptoms of haemorrhoids and hemorrhoids.
It is intended for rectal use. It has a healing and soothing effect on symptoms caused by haemorrhoids (pain, burning, itching, skin tightness). Procto-Hemolan cream reduces the permeability of blood vessels and improves the tone of the vascular wall, and reduces the inflammation associated with hemorrhoids. Lidocaine hydrochloride has an anesthetic effect, so it soothes the most troublesome symptoms. The active substances in Procto-Hemolan are local and do not have a general effect.
Indications
Procto-Hemolan cream is used rectally to treat external and internal haemorrhoids. It exhibits soothing properties for the ailments caused by the disease, including:
- itch,
- ache,
- feeling of excessive skin tension,
- baking.
The cream fights the inflammation that coexists with hemorrhoids.

Composition

Dosage
The drug should be used rectally. Using the attached applicator, apply the preparation (a strand of about 1 cm) to the affected area twice a day in the morning and evening.
Contraindications
Do not use Procto-Hemolan
- if the patient is allergic to the active substance or any of the other ingredients of this medicine, especially in the case of known hypersensitivity to local anesthetics (used, for example, for anesthesia in dentistry).
Application notes
Procto-Hemolan contains cetyl alcohol, methyl parahydroxybenzoate and propyl parahydroxybenzoate
Cetyl alcohol may cause a local skin reaction (e.g. contact dermatitis). Methyl parahydroxybenzoate and propyl parahydroxybenzoate may cause allergic reactions (possible delayed reactions).

If, after 7 days of using the drug, there is no improvement or worsening of symptoms of the disease, consult a doctor in order to determine the cause of the disease. While using this medication, you should take good care of your personal hygiene around the anus and prevent bowel disorders.

Interactions with other drugs
Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all the drugs you are taking or have recently taken, and about any drugs you plan to take. There are no known interactions between rectally administered Procto-Hemolan and other drugs.
Side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Rare (affects 1 to 10 in 10,000 people)
- a slight burning sensation;
- ache;
- increased intestinal peristalsis.
In the event of any of the above-mentioned symptoms, discontinue the drug and consult your doctor.
