Valerin Max 360mg (10 Tablets)
Valerin Max is intended for use in mild states of nervous tension and anxiety. Effectively reduces the level of perceived stress without compromising concentration.
Active substance: Valerianae radix
Composition
One film-coated tablet contains 360mg of dry valerian root hydro-alcoholic extract (Valerianae radicis extractum hydroalcoholicum siccum)
Dosage
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or according to your doctor or pharmacist’s instructions. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The recommended dose
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age:
1 tablet up to 3 times a day.
Do not take more than 4 tablets a day.
Method of administration
The drug should be administered orally.
Due to the gradual action of valerian root, it is not indicated for the emergency treatment of acute nervous tension. For best results, treatment is recommended for 2 to 4 weeks.
If symptoms worsen or do not improve after 2 weeks, please contact your doctor.
Use in children
Do not use in children under 12 years of age.
Taking more than the recommended dose of Valerin max
In case of taking more than the recommended dose of the drug, contact your doctor.
In the event of an overdose (more than 7 tablets), mild symptoms such as fatigue, abdominal cramps, dizziness, dilation of the pupils, tightness in the chest, trembling of the hands may occur.
These symptoms usually disappear within 24 hours. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.
Forgetting to take Valerin max
Do not use a double dose to make up for the forgotten dose.
If you miss a dose and your symptoms persist, take the next dose at the appointed time.
If you have any further questions about the use of this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Contraindications
Valerin Max should not be used in the case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the auxiliary substances, as well as in children under 12 years of age.

Valerin max drug is in the form of brown coated tablets. The tablets are packed in blisters of 10 tablets. The package contains 10 tablets (one blister) packed with the patient information leaflet in a cardboard box.

Other medicines and Valerin max.
Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all the medicines you are taking or have recently taken, and about the medicines you plan to take.
You should tell your doctor if you are taking any of the following medications:
- barbiturates (medicines to help you sleep and treat epilepsy);
- benzodiazepine hypnotics;
- other synthetic sedatives.
It is not recommended to use them simultaneously with Valerin max due to the similar mechanism of action of these drugs.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Due to the lack of data confirming the safety of the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding, the use of the drug is not recommended.
Driving and using machines
The drug may impair the ability to drive and use machines, therefore the it is not recommended for people driving vehicles or other machines.
Valerin max contains lactose. If the patient has been diagnosed with intolerance to some sugars, the patient should contact the doctor before taking the drug.
Side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. The following may occur during the use of the medicinal product:
Gastrointestinal disorders: nausea, abdominal cramps – frequency unknown.
