Warnings

This is medicine. For safety, use it according to the leaflet attached to the package. Do not exceed the maximum dose of the drug. If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Children

Due to the lack of sufficient data and the high content of ethanol, it is not recommended for use in children under 12 years of age.
The drug contains 65-72% (V/V) ethanol, i.e. 2.9 g of ethanol in a single dose (5 ml), which is equivalent to approximately 30 ml of wine and 72 ml of beer.
Precautions apply to people addicted to alcohol.
The ethanol content should be taken into account when using the product in pregnant and lactating women, and in high-risk groups, ie patients with liver disease and epilepsy.
Tell your doctor if your symptoms do not improve or if you experience any side effects not listed in this leaflet.

Azulan and other medicines

Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all the medicines you are taking, have recently taken or might take.
No interactions of chamomile ethanol extract with other drugs or food have been reported so far.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility

Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.
Studies on the safety of the drug in pregnant women and its effects on fetal development have not been conducted. The drug contains 65-72% (V/V) ethanol. For this reason, it should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding, especially orally.

Driving and using machines

Due to the fact that the drug contains 65-72% vol. ethanol (2.9 g in a single dose of 5 ml) it is not recommended to drive vehicles and operate machines for at least ¹/ ²   hours after its use, because after using the drug, alcohol can be detected by devices measuring its level in the exhaled air. The drug may impair the ability to drive and use machines.

Side effects

Like all medicines, Azulan can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Due to the content of ethanol, Azulan used externally may cause skin irritation and dryness. Allergic reactions related to hypersensitivity to chamomile and other plants of the  Compositae  family (Asteraceae) are possible. In very rare cases, hypersensitivity to chamomile may occur (e.g. contact allergy). People who are allergic to plants from the Asteraceae family   formerly  Compositae ), e.g. mugwort, wormwood, may experience a cross-reaction. Cases of severe allergic reaction (anaphylactic shock, asthma) have been reported very rarely.

If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. This includes any side effects not listed in this leaflet.
